Souvenir de Charcigny is an original work written for alto saxophone and piano for students in grde 3-4.

This work is in 3 parts. It begins with a nostalgic melody in F Major and approaches simple rhythms allowing to work on the conduct of the phrases and the support of the air column.

A short playful cadenza introduces a light, bouncy dance that contrasts with the first part both in character and technique.

Ideal for an exam, this composition uses almost the entire register of the saxophone (low Bb to high F), the main articulations and nuances to be acquired at the end of rade 3, as well as the varied rhythms that are acquired at this level.
Very musical, this work will enchant the students while being a composition which will make it possible to approach a second cyclenext grade in all confidence.

At night, when we fall into the arms of Morpheus, a little being is watching over us! Well, I should say watches over our dreams and especially our nightmares.
He goes around at lightning speed but always discreetly and delicately.
And when a nightmare comes, the dream catcher comes to crunch it! Thus, quietly, the time of the dreams takes its course and the sleep can continue.
This work, for grade 4, allows young performers to familiarize themselves with the quick detachment or the double detachment.
It allows an expressiveness both in the slow parts with this very soaring theme but also in the fast part

This work is the winner of the 2022 A.Sax Composition Competition in the category grade 6.
Le samouraï noir (the black samourai) is in the program of the second National Competition of Interpretation for Young Saxophonists of the A.Sax 2022 in the category grade 6.
and in the program of the International Adolphe Sax Competition l'Haÿ-les-Roses 2022.
The Black Samurai( Le Samouraï Noir) is inspired by a true story.
This composition in 3 parts represents the life of this future samurai.
In the first part, the composer evokes the beginning of the life of a black slave sold to the Chinese. This beginning is very dynamic, we enter immediately in a rhythm and a frenetic pulse, with an energetic and intense dynamic presence.
The second part describes the travel to China from Africa by boat.
The melancholy, and the deep sadness of this slave shows strong emotions.
The third part tells how a Japanese emperor buys this black slave and see in him a potential samurai.
The Black Samurai is born.
The phrase, as well as the tempo, evoke the training, the fights. All this remains an art. It is for these reasons that this part is nervous and dancing, fluid and fast like a Samurai at the top of his practice.
