5 Récits du feu
pour Tenor SaxophoneDuration 10'
5 récits du feu movements form a narrative sound arch in witch exploration of timbre and “gestural grains” within the saxophone instrumental possibilities creates scenes with sound images of combustion, heat, smoke and light. It plays with a range of saxophone extended techniques witch allows access to musical exploration of noise plans and layers. Ambient sound and “non musical” saxophone sounds are henceforth included on the textural tools of music. 5 récits du feu is dedicated to Stéphane Sordet.
