The illusions of stability and technological dependence lock us in fear and confusion, which is sometimes mistaken for freedom.
This current dystopia is already present in the engraving El sueño de la razón produces monstruos of the painter Francisco de Goya.
The reason that pretends to give us progress and peace has ended up awakening the most terrible monsters that we have known as humanity.
The monsters have already woken up and they will continue to wake up forever in our positivist nightmare....

The perfect metronomic time is an illusion.

A utopia that no living being is able to achieve without the help of the machines of regularity : like a metronome, a clock, a calendar or a routine that locks us into monotony.

Unlike the current use that we give to the machines of regularity, here the machine has for objective to make an illusion; the constancy that the interpreter proposes will be altered by micro-variations of tempo, generating improbable and unimaginable rhythmic relations, going until putting in ambiguity the strong times of the interpreter. On the other hand, the central part contains a virtual counterpoint with multiple voices, as J.S Bach did, a monodic instrument can generate different voices, in this case a constantly descending fugue.

How can we feel softness in a violent fall?
If our body confuses us to avoid the pain of the fall, will it also be possible to deceive our auditory perception in a melodic twist doomed to an irreversible fall?
Is it possible that a solo instrument can configure a polyphonic sound, rising and falling at the same time to absorb the blow of an imminent fall?
Étude d'illusion 2, attempts to answer these questions through a musical language that is constantly transforming with real-time audio transformation processes.

Musca depicta is the fly technique painted in the paintings of the Renaissance, which had the objective of confusing the observer between the real and the unreal. This process is repeated in this work through auditory confusions, between instruments and electronics. The auditor is invited to follow a musical discourse where the progressive transformations of sound objects generate a continuous musical discourse with some expressive breaks.

Musca depicta is the fly technique painted in the paintings of the Renaissance, which had the objective of confusing the observer between the real and the unreal. This process is repeated in this work through auditory confusions, between instruments and electronics. The auditor is invited to follow a musical discourse where the progressive transformations of sound objects generate a continuous musical discourse with some expressive breaks.

Oronitología de especies extintas is inspired by the diversity of colours and explosive energy of Cristian Morales Ossio's "Draft for extinct birds". Through the instrumental synthesis of the new timbres created are guided in a musical language of non-linear transformation. Different processes and textures imitate the cries and songs of Paleolithic birds, reflecting on the daily disappearance of thousands of bird melodies due to speculative and unsustainable economic development.
